Message Window
The message window
used to read and reply to an email message.
Depending on the content of your email there will be up to five
tabbed windows.
Html View
If your email contains html content then this tab will be available
and will be automatically chosen when the message displays. Html
emails are usually accompanied by a plain text version, but not
always.
Email View
This is the default view. It is the plain text version of your email
formatted as an email view. (more
on views)
Attachments
If the email contains any file attachments then the files will be
listed under this tab.
MsgInfo
Every email has header information embedded into it. This tab shows
all the header and other miscellaneous information.
ViewAs
If you have selected to view the email in another format then the
newly formatted message will show under this tab.
Quick
Reply
Use this to reply to the message directly as opposed to launching
your default email client.

To Sender
Loads
your external default email client with the Sender and Subject
fields filled in.
Quick
Reply
Allows
you to reply to the current message without leaving the Email
Segeway software. Select the Quick Reply menu item to the left
of this page for more information.
Open
Attachment Folder
Opens
the Email Segway attachments folder with MS Explorer.
Save
As...
Opens a save
dialog box.
You can save the currently viewed message information in several
formats including HTML and Rich Text format.
Print
Depending
on what format you are currently viewing this item print the
contents of the active tab.
Display Properties
Depending
on what format you are currently viewing this item will show
the display properties page.
Within the properties editor you can change behavior's such
as word wrap, font size, syntax colors, and a host of other
options.
Show
Html Images
Will display
images in the HTML document. Automatically displaying HTML images
is configurable from within the Options window.
There are two main reasons you may not want images to automatically
display. The first is if you using a dialup internet connection
and do not want to wait for the images to download. The other
is to avoid inadvertently viewing an offending image.
Exit
This item
will close the message view window.

If there is no text selected this menu item will select all
the text in the message.
If there is some text selected then all text will be deselected.

hilighted text to the clipboard.
Send
Selected To Default App
This will
examine the hilighted text and ask MS Windows to open the appropriate
program. For example if you have an email address hilighted
your default email client will open, web links will open your
browser, etc.

Email Segway can display messages in several formats.
Each format has a set of rules for formatting and coloring the
text. Each of these formats can be customized by you from the
Display Properties menu item.
